Plano, Texas, our new home, has an anual Hot Air Balloon Festival. We went down to check it out last weekend. It was pretty cool. They didn't let off until the morning, so we just saw them light up at night. Ok, It wasn't nearly as cool and every one made it sound, but we had fun anyway! Sean got to eat a deep fried twinkie and a deep fried snickers, so he was a happy man!

Hmmm, deep fried snickers & twinkies. Gross. You should try deep fried cool whip, or deep fried milk. Much better.
Texas... Maybe Danny & I can move there?!?!
Maybee... The Lord says you need to! I like to call it the lonely star state, the lonely Katie State!
Deep fired twinkie? Sean, haven't I taught you ANYTHING?!
Thanks for making a blog Katie. I will love keeping up with you. Miss you and I need your new address.
I'm so excited! I can't wait to see pictures and hear about how things are going via your blog Kates! How cute, you and your bloggy blog ;)
I'll second all the deep fried snickers and twinkie comments...ech! :-) Here's what I want to know though...what are honey crisp apples (listed as yum in your profile)? Sounds tasty!
How many times do you get to sit and watch numerous countdowns for balloons that merely light up for 3 seconds and then die down? That is what is wonderful about Texas, always full of fun activities.
P.s. I'll let you know what big event is planned for this weekend! ;)
How was the deep fried snickers? Kris is jealous, he LOVES the twinkie!
The Balloon festival looks cool. The boys would love that!
